The alleys of Ely

Earliest known poster for Evening (18 June 2024).

Most of the alleys in Ely are dirt/gravel.

Mine is asphalt (albeit battered) because the Ace hardware truck comes down the alley twice a week.

Ely is not awash in cash. This was a boom town (population 6000+ in its day), but the boom ended 50, 60 years ago (pop now 3200).
