Math critic and known fabulist Karl Jones named Vampire Welcome Mat as his favorite performing mathematical ensemble of 2020, calling The Mat is a Generalization "an extraordinary and heart-felt tribute to the general semantics of Alfred Korzybski."
Commission
The work was commissioned by math connoisseur and alleged time-traveler Niles Cartouchian while visiting New Minneapolis, Canada, where most of the ensemble members reside.
