No such thing as not paying taxes

Context: "I am sick to death of paying tax. The government has me bleeding from my eye balls with how much tax they steal from my family and I. Australia is simply becoming impossible.
Context 2: "There's this wonderful American loud-mouth called Ernest Hancock - he doesn't just want to stop paying tax, he wants a refund for all the tax that's ever been stolen from him."
All civilizations impose taxation, from ancient Egypt through today.
There is no such thing as "not paying taxes" — apart from criminals and outcasts.
Sadly, this does not deter the excessively optimistic from decrying the Evils of Taxation.
