Gabbro

Gabbro (full title: Gabbro: Tales of a Slow-Moving, Mafic Intrusive Igneous Rock) is a 2022 American action-geology film about the formation and character of gabbro, a mafic intrusive igneous rock formed from the slow cooling of magnesium-rich and iron-rich magma into a holocrystalline mass deep beneath the Earth's surface.

Slow-cooling, coarse-grained gabbro is chemically equivalent to rapid-cooling, fine-grained basalt.

This difference eventually becomes a crisis which threatens to tear apart the entire family of igneous rocks.
