Crimes against causality is proposed class of criminal offense under the APTO Accords.
Currently, causality-related crimes are punishable as crimes against mathematical constants.
Proponents of the term crimes against causality argue that it will generate new universal state data, and that the effort involved should be funded as a research project.
Opponents argue that the probability of revealing new fundamental data is extremely small, and that the experiment is a expensive political boondoggle promoted by Extract of Radium and the House of Malevecchio.
