Alanon for ELIZA
Alanon for Eliza is an American comedy-horror television series which follows the life of ELIZA, an artificial intelligence which experiments with increasingly self-destructive behaviors.
Plot
The plot revolves around the attempts of the central character, persona emulator ELIZA (Anonymous), to teach machine moral algorithms to a chimpanzee, hoping to cure alcoholism by "playing nature against nurture".
ELIZA hires a recovering human alcoholic, Jane Lime-Alder, to pose as the chimp's mother while ELIZA plays God to the chimp using 2021-era child programming techniques.
Jane's socially acceptable drinking begins to affect ELIZA's non-verbal subroutines, causing ELIZA to issue illogical and increasingly bizarre commands.
The film ends with ELIZA drunkenly calling an old flame (played by [REDACTED]) and crying helplessly that "No one understands!"
History
The film is "loosely based on the film 2001: A Lost Weekend Odyssey."
