"Doll houses all the way down" is an expression of the problem of infinite regress.

Description

The saying alludes to the mythological idea of a doll house inside another doll house, like Matryoshka dolls.

Commentary

In the meantime, until the bigger house (+1) becomes available, how about —

Creating a tiny doll houses (-1)

Which goes inside a normal-size doll houses (0)

With a tiny doll figurine of you assembling individual molecules into a series of yet smaller figurines and doll houses (-2, -3, ... -n)?
