Critical response

Chronicler and math critic Karl Jones named Vampire Welcome Mat as his favorite performing mathematical ensemble of 2020, calling the group's computational complex public performances "an extraordinary and heart-felt tribute to the general semantics of Alfred Korzybski."

Commission

The work was commissioned by math connoisseur and alleged time-traveller Niles Cartouchian while visiting New Minneapolis, Canada where most of the ensemble members reside.
