Mindysan33 on Pat Robertson.
"Yet another disingenuous asshole who helped get us where we are today, so he can go fuck right off."
True enough.
And yet here we are, every day more desperate for the Trump Tipping Point.
Surely Robertson will swing a lot of red-staters.
Yes, these red-staters will continue to be people you despise forever.  But the Trump will be Tipped.
Last word:
I have been saying for years:
"Love is the way."
And:
"Never give up on people."
I have always been sincere about this, you understand.  But it has always been an ethical statement, a poem about right and wrong, kind and hurtful, good and evil.  Not a functional assertion, not an action statement on any scale larger than a personal apology when I have wronged a friend, or been wronged myself.
It never occurred to me that the *world* would change.
Now here we are.
