"Legs all the way down" is an expression of the problem of infinite regress.
Description
The saying alludes to the mythological idea of a pair of World Legs which support the earth.
It suggests that these mighty Legs rests on the back of an even larger pair of Legs, which itself is part of a column of increasingly large World Legs which continues indefinitely (i.e., "Legs all the way down").
L'Eggs
Compare "She's got L'eggs and she knows how to use them", a shamanic chant from the middle Hedonic era.
