Help the Republicans Save America
Among all the Republican voters in this this country, surely a great majority know in their hearts that we are in a national nightmare and that we need to wake up like never before.
The simple direct democratic way of making that happen is for all those good-hearted Republicans (who I imagine are like soldiers in foxholes, each soldier aware only of his own fear) to change teams and join the enemy, however hated.
Democrats (and third partiers), your task is to help Republicans get there. Do your part:
- Do not make generalized attacks of the "Republicans Bad" variety[1]
- Rebuke your progressive friends when they make such attacks[2]
- Remain non-emotional about the whole show[3]
Open arms for desperate times. All together now, people.
