I will give up my Prairie School all-caps block printing (which Dad taught me, patiently, with love) when you wrap my cold dead fingers around a quill pen and force it through the motions of your damnable cursive.

And may the embarrassing ink splots draw sardonic rebuke from Teacher in front of the entire class.
