Taxonomy Nightmares is a reality television show featuring professional taxonomists confronting the most difficult cases in taxonomy.

Origin

The show originated with the assertion (as yet unsourced) that the monophyly of the Orthocerida, as traditionally defined, is a "nightmare for taxonomists".[citation needed]
