The Rosenwald sheets are a set of three printed sheets of playing cards from the 16th century which function as a rudimentary scrying engine.

The Rosenwald sheets function as a matrix for simple scrying engine routines.

The scrying engine effect is assumed to be a form of the Gnomon algorithm.
