Advice for new homeowners
Begin with yourself in your new home.
Dance from room to room. Try different dance styles. Which style feels best in which room?
Close your eyes for a minute or longer. Listen. Smell. What does the house tell you?
Go to another room and repeat. After listening and smelling each room, you will learn little secrets about the mood of each room.
Go the the kitchen. Imagine that you are going to plan and cook a special meal for family and friends. What will you cook? As you play this game, let the kitchen hear your thoughts (you could even speak out loud).
All of these activities project your imagination into the future, opening up possibilities.
