Farewell Boing Boing, I go into exile now.
History
My behavior on the Boing Boing comment board has led to a Boing Boing moderator asking me to self-censor.
I wish for my words to remain as they stand, uncensored.
Rather than wait for a Boing Boing moderator to cancel my account, I plan to send a few private farewell messages to Boing Boing users I like and respect, review my own activity log for anything I want to save, and then delete my account. This feels like honor; this I will do.

- Diary (June 12, 2020): "A certain kind of satirist would mash “SS” with “Gilligan’s Island” and reboot Hogan’s Heroes as a death camp on a desert island in the Caribbean during the War." On reflection, this is perhaps the certain kind of satirist who is likely to get banned.
- Diary (June 13, 2020): I succumbed to online feuding — doubled down on it with "Farewell Boing Boing" — and righteously earned a user ban. Worth it, to have imagined SS Minnow (TV series). Bye bye Boing Boing. Just look at this banana peel slip away. Just look at it!
