Isham B. Hudson: November 28, 1918
thumb|Isham Hudson diary - November 12-21, 1918.
Blankets and shelter half
were so heavy that I
left them on foot of high
hill. Met resistance
in crossing creek-
machine gun. All day we
billetted at Haurseurtt.
Left early next morning
and reached Meuse River
4 Kil. away. Here was
"beaucoup" resistance.
Held line that night. Next
morning, I left lines on
account of exposure and an
ear-ache. Two meals at
French abbey.
