1952: Computer scientist, mathematician, logician, cryptanalyst and theoretical biologist Alan Turing dies. He wwas influential in the development of theoretical computer science, providing a formalization of the concepts of algorithm and computation with the Turing machine.
1959: Brainiac Explains magazine published detailed plans for simulating the BOMARC nuclear missile site explosion.
1961: Gem detective and arms dealer Egon Rhodomunde accuses Niles Cartouchian of causing an explosion at the BOMARC missile site.
