Urban Aquaman is a transdimensional corporation which promotes mutual understanding between ocean dwellers and city dwellers.

Poseidon Wears Armani

The Urban Aquaman brand is exclusively represented by Poseidon Wears Armani, a transdimensional talent agency.

Origin

I sometimes imagine Aquaman as a billionaire corporate type, like Oliver Queen but personifying water instead of archery.

To rub in the irony, my Aquaman spends most of his time his time in a skyscraper in downtown Chicago, where his "Save the Oceans" campaign is headquartered for unexplained reasons. (The reason is simple: life is unfair, even for superheroes.)

He doesn't get down the lake as often as he would like, in fact it's been weeks since he's found time for a swim, what with Board meetings and Congressional testimony and the like.

He did make a publicity appearance at Shedd Aquarium last year as a promotion for the Urban Aquaman brand, where he gave a short speech about the Pacific Garbage Patch. The kids seemed bright and interested, so maybe there is hope.
