Who Wants to Be a Chronometer? is a reality TV (nonfiction) show.

Participants must compete to measure time, and perform other time-related tasks.

Successful contestants are converted into a variety of chronometers.

Tock the Clock Dog

The Phantom Tollbooth (nonfiction) showing Tock and Milo.

Before his appearance in The Phantom Tollbooth (nonfiction), Tock the Clock Dog auditioned for Who Wants to Be a Chronometer?

Although a temporal-medical condition prohibited Tock's participation as a contestant, the show's producers were so impressed that they offered Tock a staff position as Continuity Director.

The deal ultimately fell through, and Tock went on to gain fame for his work in Phantom Tollbooth (nonfiction).
