Context: "This week's Deep In Bear Country is a wild ride as Mike Berenstain touches on the relationship between Christians and atheists in a functioning community. It's one of the only Christian children's books I've seen that honestly addresses 'What if your friend is an atheist?'"

A better question is "What if your friend is not a Christian", since non-Christians represent 68.5% of the world's population (and rising).
