Tom Swift (? - ?) is a mad scientist and best-selling author.

He is also the murderer of H. P. Lovecraft, and would-be summoner of the Elder Gods. See H. P. Lovecraft.

Swift uses the Flammarion engraving as a scrying engine, and even as a rudimentary time machine.

As a result, multiple incompatible timelines are known to exist in Swift's mind, driving him to insane genius.

In April 2016, Swift approached Tar-Baby 9000 about a crime team partnership.
