Petasos or Petasus (Greek: πέτασος) is a semi-retired supervillain.
He is known for wearing his family's hereditary petasos, a sun hat of Thessalian origin worn by the ancient Greeks, usually made of wool felt, leather or straw, with a broad, floppy brim.
Although widely acknowledged as a supervillain, Petasos has a reputation avoiding violence and bloodshed, and is widely considered to be a fair and decent man who somehow had supervillain powers thrust upon him.
