"Union and Confederacy" is a short essay by Karl Jones.
Union and Confederacy
Calling the Confederacy an "attempt to create a nation in which some people were better than others" is awkward phrase.
The Union, like the Confederacy, was (and is) run by and for the wealthy, who are *better than other people*.
The proof of which is wealthy calling on government troops to protect their private property
