The Devil's Rich
It's like Poor Laws for the ultra-weathy.
Many ultra-wealthy persons are good ultra-wealthy persons, analogous with the good poor, who live in squalid huts but go to Mass and pay their taxes (or more likely serve as foot soldiers during campaign season).
But certain other ultra-wealthy persons are like vagrants, the Devil's Poor, the kind you can brand on the face with the letter V for Vagrancy and still they linger in the woods at the edge of town, sustaining themselves on stolen refuse and occasionally the blood of a Christian baby.
You know — the Devil's Rich.
