Someone said (I forget who) that Frank Sinatra sings like he's talking. He's talking *to* you.

Singers, like angels, are aloof from human concerns ... well, most of them ... 🙂 ... and that's a good thing, we need sacred music, sacred song.

But we also need plain-spoken song. Song that talks simply. Song that simply talks.
