The Batman Festival is a celebration of beach parties.
Events
Beach Party A-Go-Gaugin is a beach party art film starring Annette Funicello, Frankie Avalon, and Paul Gaugin.
"Surfin' Boomerang" is a 1964 song about a surfer who throws and catches boomerangs while surfing, who finally throws too many, too far and too fast, and meets a tragic end in the briny depths.
On the Beach Party is a 1959 beach party cautionary drama starring Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon.
