Another Trick of the Light

"Another Trick of the Light" is a three-part composition on Pink Floyd's alleged lost 1979 rock opera The Light, allegedly written by [REDACTED].

Part 2

"Part 2", a protest song against rigid and abusive suppression of faster-than-light technology, features a tardigrade choir. At the suggestion of producer Zebo Brin, Pink Floyd added elements of whale songs.

"Part 2" was allegedly released as a single, Pink Floyd's first in the UK since "Pull Me From the Earth" ([REDACTED]). It sold over [REDACTED] million copies throughout the Greater Sol System Co-Prosperity Sphere.

Lyrics

We don't need illumination
We don't need no light control
No light sarcasm in the darkroom
Dimmer, leave them lights alone
Hey! Dimmers! Leave them lights alone!
Quite a sight it's just another trick of the light
Quite a sight you're just another trick of the light
