The Uncials (or simply Uncials) is a street gang and part-time transdimensional corporation.
The Uncials are Dungeons and Dragons fans to a man.
The Uncials support themselves as glyph poachers, making them the natural enemies of Glyph Wardens.
The Uncials sometimes beat Propinquity Associates to the punch, and there is a certain amount of playful but murderous donnybrooking, with the Uncials getting the worst of it, every time.
These outbursts of violence are inevitably followed by the ritual drinking of Extract of Radium, and the usual resulting incidents of scrimshaw abuse.
Here again the Uncials keep getting the worst of it, with Propinquity Associates at least having the sense to vomit up (nonfiction) that last unwise shot of hemlock (nonfiction) and Extract of Radium (see Mispent Youth).
It keeps happening, over and over again, and you think the Uncials would learn. But no.
Perhaps it is all in good fun, like medieval jousting (nonfiction).
The hat-wearing villain Petasos has formed (and broken) alliances with The Uncials on several occasions.
The drink Mispent Youth is popular with The Uncials.
The Uncials have a hate-love relationship with One More Thing, the artificial intelligence (nonfiction) based on Columbo (nonfiction).
Mostly hate, because One More Thing hates law-breaking, and the Uncials break the law all the time.
But occasionally love, somewhat in the sense that the Baker Street Irregulars (nonfiction) have love for Sherlock Holmes (nonfiction).
Several of the Uncials are notorious for repeated and extreme bouts of Aldermania, the abnormal psychological need to be an Alderman (nonfiction).
The Uncials eat a lot of Chicxulub Chips.
In the News
