Chrome Plover, with their latest controller units. (Early publicity photo, possibly taken by Edward Lear.)

Chrome Plover is a musical electroplating ensemble.

Their first album, Shiny Dull, won praise from music critics and punk metallurgists alike, but failed to generate sufficient revenue to cover hazardous waste disposal costs.

Edward Lear occasionally sits in on sessions.
