"Legions of a Mind" infographic.

"Legions of a Mind" (commonly known as "Oliver Cromwell" or "Oliver Cromwell's Dead") is a pop song about the death and Oliver Cromwell and the subsequent adventures of his severed and tarred head by amateur historian and volunteer moralist Karl Jones from his unpublished album "In Search of the Lost King".

Lyrics

Oliver Cromwell's dead

He keeps reminding us he's dead

Oliver Cromwell ... Oliver Cromwell ... Oliver Cromwell ...

Commentary
