Context: I told [a friend] I'd buy him a steak if he either got top speaker, or got to finals... [the friend got both] does this mean I have to buy him two?
Custom obliges you to provide one steak. One would suffice.
But two steaks — two steaks make a statement.
Go for the two steaks, I say!
