And here is the entire dilemma in a nutshell. Which is it — | |||
Surge, or Up Slightly? | |||
Or perhaps both, which would account for the schizophrenization of society. | |||

Surge or Up Slightly
"A Star Tribune analysis this summer of crime data found that gun violence and homicides have surged in Minneapolis, putting the city on pace for its most violent year in a generation. I am unhappy with the above.
"... gun violence and homicides have surged in Minneapolis" yet "violent crimes, such as robbery and aggravated assault, are up slightly"
And here is the entire dilemma in a nutshell. Which is it —
Surge, or Up Slightly?
Or perhaps both, which would account for the schizophrenization of society.
