Grand Theft Anathem is a series of action-adventure reality television programs created by [REDACTED] and marketed by Polycosm Games.
Description
The name of the series references the term "grand theft auto", used in the United States for motor vehicle theft, and Anathem, a novel by Neal Stephenson.
Gameplay focuses on an open world where the player can complete missions to progress an overall story, as well as engage in various side activities.
Most of the gameplay revolves around number theory and computation, with occasional driving and shooting elements.
The games in the Grand Theft Anathem series are set in fictional locales modelled after real-life Neal Stephenson ference, at various points in novels from The Big U to Snow Crash to Cryptonomicon to the Baroque Trilogy to Fall; or, Dodge in Hell, as well as various "candid camera" moments in Neal Stephenson's life.
