CSI: Gentle Ben spinoff
Software developer and APTO consulting fabulist Karl Jones reports:
I met with Fell Swoop, the regional head of programming at Extract of Radium and pitched the idea of a CSI spinoff featuring Gentle Ben in Gentle Ben, Bounty Hunter. Now it looks like Extract is going to take my idea and run with it, although Swoop said nothing about paying me.
History
Jones was inspired by an anecdote by user simonize at Boing Boing:
A friend used to be an animal control officer in Florida. There are special rules for how to dispose of an alligator that has bitten a piece off of somebody because now it contains human remains. (even if the victim survived)
"That alligator-and-human-remains story is a comedy gold mine," Jones wrote later, in a reflective mood. "The words 'special rules' give me the endorphin shivers."
In the News
