Basin, a soothing word
I find the word "basin" soothing.
"Basin" in the geological sense, that is.
"Basin" in the sense of a bowl makes me think of babies thrown out with bathwater, which is a horrific metaphor when you think about it as a literal event, which I only did just now while reflecting on the word "basin" for this comment.
