Thanks Tim. This is informative, which is what I want on social media.

I'm usually not interested in my friends' political opinions, and most of the time I am completely uninterested in my own political opinion. And I absolutely do not carry on debates (political or otherwise) over social media, having learned over the years that the medium conduces to incivility.
