Vowel place names indicate early settlement of the Americas

Comment @ Smithsonian Magazine (24 Dec. 2019) —

Want to see and trace the movements of early Americans circa thirty thousand years ago? Then take a look at the names of the places spread all about both North and South America.

They have to have been bestowed on settlements by people who spoke a language consisting of a consonant/vowel construction. Take for examples Ca na da, Da ko ta, Wa co na chi, Chi ca go, Mi nne so ta, Bu ffa lo, Ci nci nna ti, Ma na ssa, Mi ssi ssi ppi, Ki ssee mee, A ma zo na,, Gu ya na, Pe ru, A pu ba ra na, Ti ti ca ca, Yu ca ma ni, Ta ra pa ca,etc.

As a matter of fact, the consonant/vowel speech construction is spread far and wide around our world, which is some thing else for thought and further examination.

Star Tribune, spineless defender of the old guard

"Despite" a wave of violence ....

The Star Tribune's title implies that a wave of violence could or should shut down a quote defund police unquote effort.

For shame, Star Tribune. For shame. You are defending the old guard with this spineless writing.
