Tim Curry was very good in "Hunt for Red October" as the ship's physician. It's a small role, but he has one shining moment that sticks with me.
The Captain (Sean Connery) has just murdered Putin, the ship's political officer, slamming Putin's head into the deck. The Captain calls Curry and says "he slipped and hit his head". Curry says nothing: the look on his face — disbelief, worry, fear — is priceless.
I totally do not need to see "Red October a second time ... except for that onc scene, just to see the expression on Curry's face. (Sadly, I could not find the clip on YouTube.)
