A Plimpton engine is an engine (nonfiction) which uses George Plimpton (nonfiction) as a source for power, control, or other properties.
Plimpton engines are presumed to use some form of the Gnomon algorithm, although this has not been investigated to date (August 2022).
History
Plimpton engines were famously invented by George Plimpton (nonfiction), upon accepting Noel Harrison (nonfiction)'s invitation to join him in The Noel Harrison Sensation.
