== Description ==

In Greek mythology, [[Dionysus (nonfiction)]], the god of wine was born or raised in ''Nysa'' or ''Nyssa'' (Ancient Greek: Νύσα or Νύσσα), a name that was consequently given to many towns in all parts of the world associated with cultivation of grapes.

As a consequence, Nysa on the Maeander literally ''meanders'' across time and space, failing to maintain a fixed destiny relative to the [[Roman Empire (nonfiction)]].

== Transdimensional corporation ==

Nysa on the Maeander has made several efforts to "sober up and get transdimensional", as [[Socrates]] put it.

During the [[Trojan War (nonfiction)]], Nysa on the Maeander was able to (tempoarily) function as a [[transdimensional corporation]], thanks to sponsorship of the war by [[Extract of Radium]].

This phase ended with a particularly virulent wave of [[scrimshaw abuse]], and the subsequent [[conflagrations of Troy (nonfiction)]] across countless disparate Trojan timelines.

The resulting chaos would later be known as [[Schliemann's Butterfly Effect]].

== Metachondria ==
