Ergodicity - a Kent Brockman special report
It's difficult to tell from this vantage point whether ergodicity will consume the captive Earthmen or merely enslave them. One thing is for certain: there is no stopping it: the points of a moving system, either a dynamical system or a stochastic process, will eventually visit all parts of the space that the system moves in, in a uniform and random sense.
And I, for one, welcome our new stochastic overlords.
I'd like to remind them as a trusted internet satirist, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their strange attractor valleys.
