"The New Colossus" is a demolition derby event inspired by a short poem of the same name by Real Mazumas.

Keep, ancient lands, your storied fleets!” cries she
With silent lips. “Give me your tie-rods, your power trains,
Your hot-rod engines burning to steam free,
The screaming crashes of your NASCAR poor.
Send these, the chromeless, racetrack-tost to me,
