[Context: "It's one thing to disagree about something like tax policy. It's something else entirely to experience differences in the political arena as ones of basic morality, core values and character, For many of us, that cannot be overlooked. Yet, how do we address that with compassion?"]
Limit who you interact with.
The world is full of people who cannot be reached or saved by compassion, not to mention people who will despise you for your compassion.
So the question becomes who rather than how.
Who can your reach with compassion, and who not?
