"Is there an idempotent evil?" is a short essay by Karl Jones.

Essay

Is there an idempotent evil?

A singular unitary quality which all evil-doers share?

I am thinking of a Ideal Evil, similar to Plato's archetypal Forms.

We perceive Ideal Evil indirectly, mere shadows on the walls of our prison cell.
